Heart disease is no joke, and is a very serious and common threat to women.

We encourage you to treat your heart and body with care and live your best life ever!

A Dozen Reasons Why You Should Know What Is Going On With Your Heart:

– It’s the leading killer in women, and while it affects women of all ages, the risk increases with age.

– The symptoms are so common and subtle, such as shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness and cold sweats (gee, sounds a bit like a typical day in the world of menopause) – getting checked is the only way to know for sure.

– Because you’d like to see your grandchildren grow up.

– Because your grandchildren would like for you to see them grow up.

– Because it is American Heart Month.

– Because your car should not get more maintenance than your body.

– Women are typically the care-takers, but we need to be aware of taking care of ourselves or we won’t be around to take care of the others.

– Because heart attacks hurt, a lot – why not prevent one before it happens?

– Because there is no cure, only ways to control it. You are so much better off catching it early.

– A good excuse to miss another afternoon of work.

– Most or all scans and tests your doctor is likely to recommend (depending on each individual case) are inexpensive and completely painless.

– You had your “ta-ta”s checked, might as well check what’s underneath.
