Appreciating Mom
Okay, so we have to admit, we did learn a thing or two from our moms…
1) Work hard and appreciate what you have.
2) Get along with your brother/sister. Yeah, they can be irritating. Heck, a lot of times they are your exact opposite. But there’s no one else in the world that grew up the same way you did, learned the same values, and has the same genes!
3) Always answer questions asked by your children truthfully.  You don’t have to give all the information at once, but always tell them the truth. If you don’t know, tell them so and use it as an opportunity to learn something new and spend time with your children.
4) Maybe there’s a reason moms make you do what they do…Â the thought of keeping the house clean and picked up seemed so annoying to me when I was young, but now that I’ve reached that stage myself, I appreciate what I took from that and find myself doing the same.
5) It’s good to have someone believe in you and encourage your dreams. Moms can make you believe that you can do anything.
6) Treasure your mom while she is here. As many of us come to a point in our lives where her health or memory may be fading, remember to embrace the memories you have of her and appreciate the good days.
